Yes, your puppy can and should be left alone to learn how to be away from you. this is a good habit to start early so they do not develop separation anxiety, HOWEVER, they need to be left in a safe space where they cannot access any wires, chemicals, or choke on anything. We suggest crate training your puppy and we love to help walk you through that!
Our puppies will ALL be vet checked prior to going to their new homes. we take pride in sending puppies home with everything they need for their first 8 weeks of life. they will be vet checked, dewormed multiple times, have their first round of shots, and (if requested by the new owners) microchipped.
Yes, with any non-shedding dog there is an about of grooming you will have to do at home and every 6-8 weeks you will need to take them to a professional groomer to have them groomed. This is essential for their skin and fur health. no grooming a dog is like not brushing your hair. it will result in mats that are painful and extremely hard to remove. if you do not take weekly care of your puppy the grooming will be painful for your new puppy.
Pet insurance is something I personally do not use and never had the need for it however some families like to have it. I don’t have a specific recommendation for which one you should use but here is a link for you to compare each one and the needs your family may have!
Will my dogs coat change color?
We are not entirely sure for each puppy! It is likely that they will fade but we don’t know for sure Until they’re bigger.
Absolutely, you can change your puppy’s name at 8 weeks old! Puppies are still very adaptable at that age and can learn a new name quickly, especially if you associate it with positive things like treats, praise, or playtime.
Just start using the new name consistently, say it in a happy tone, and reward your pup when they respond to it. They’ll usually catch on within a few days.
